The Opening Glow brings YE Munich to the Steinbockalm and opens March Glow³ with a special event high up on the mountain. International star DJs, curated art and selected fashion pieces meet alpine expanses, sunshine and a late winter atmosphere.

Opening Glow Tickets
YE Munich brings international star DJs, art and fashion to the Steinbockalm. Be there when house music, alpine scenery and day party vibes mark the start of March Glow³. Limited. Curated. High up on the mountain.
Access by Cable Car or Ski
The Steinbockalm can be reached on skis or by cable car. The following lifts take you to the event location:
🚠 Sinalco lift (Hintermoos, Maria Alm)
🚠 Hochmais lift (Hinterthal)
🚠 Gabühel lift (Dienten)
The event at the Steinbockalm ends at 8:00 pm. The lifts will operate for the descent until the event finishes. Please make sure to choose the correct lift for your way back down to the valley.
Parking guidance system & directions
Parking spaces for the Opening Glow can be found in Maria Alm, Hinterthal and Dienten. Be sure to check out the parking guidance system, which clearly shows the parking spaces. Here are the parking addresses:
Maria Alm:
- P1: Town entrance, 5761 Maria Alm
- P2: Aberg Bergbahnen, Unterberg 28, 5761 Maria Alm
- P3: Hintermoos Ski Centre, Hintermoos 3, 5761 Maria Alm
Info: Buses run from Aberg to Hintermoos to the Sinalco cable car.
Hinterthal:
- P4: Hochmaisbahn, Hochmais 5, 5761 Hinterthal
- P5: Town centre, Urslaustraße 34-38, 5761 Hinterthal
Dienten:
- P6: Dienten Ski Centre (Gabühelbahn), Dorf 66a, 5652 Dienten am Hochkönig
- P7: Zachhoflift, 5652 Dienten am Hochkönig
- P8: Dacheggbahn, 5652 Dienten am Hochkönig
Info: Shuttle buses run from the car parks to the Gabühelbahn.
You will receive a wristband for the event in the colour of the lift, as shown here on the map, so that you can catch the right lift for the descent.
Public Transport to the Event
We recommend travelling to the Opening Glow by public transport. With the Guest Mobility Ticket, travel is even free of charge from the Salzburg provincial border. The following options are available:
Public travel to Saalfelden: Take the train or bus to Saalfelden and from there bus line 620 directly to Hintermoos in Maria Alm.
Public travel to Mühlbach (please note: from Mühlbach, the Steinbockalm can only be reached on skis): Take the train to Bischofshofen and from there bus line 590 to Mühlbach.

Shuttle Service Before and After the Event
Shuttle services are available to ensure smooth arrival and departure.
- - From 12:00 pm: Aberg to Sinalco until 4:30 pm at the latest.
- - From 1:00 pm: Zachhofalm and Dachegg parking areas to the Gabühel lift until 4:30 pm at the latest.
- - From 8:00 pm: Gabühel lift to Zachhof and Dachegg and onward to Mühlbach if required, until 9:30 pm at the latest.
- - From 8:00 pm: Sinalco to Aberg and onward to Maria Alm village centre until 9:30 pm at the latest.
